I have hand cut dovetails in everything from soft friendly cedar to hard difficult oak. This was my first experience with curly oak. I really like the results but the process was quite tedious. Would I do it again? Probably so! ~
Voila, the entire picture!
~ Each stand has three drawers that slide easily on roller slides. The drawer "pulls" are integrated into the face of the drawer. ~
The drawer interiors are solid oak, dovetailed for strength.
~ These pieces were designed to customers' specs for bedside nightstands.
~ Here's the "after" picture. I'm left with lots of "chips", a few pictures, and a really good feeling of accomplishment. ~
